Clinically validated technology brings highly accurate, comprehensive biometric data to wearable products being showcased at CES 2015
Valencell, a leader in performance biometric data sensor technology, has licensed its PerformTek biometric technology to industry leaders such as Intel, Jabra, Atlas, and Scosche to develop their highly accurate, clinically validated, biometric wearable products. These products will be showcased at CES 2015, taking place January 6-9 in Las Vegas.
“Our partners choose PerformTek biometrics, because the technology is accurate, flexible and robust – with the clinical data to back it up,” said Dr. Steven LeBoeuf, president of Valencell. “Products that are powered by PerformTek have the ability to collect continuous biometric data that can provide the most personalized, accurate and comprehensive picture of performance and fitness – driving the recent demand for our technology.”
PerformTek is fueling many of the latest wearable products in the market today, many of which will be showcased at this year’s CES, the global stage for innovation. These products include:
- Jabra’s Sport Pulse Wireless Earbuds
- Scosche’s Rhythm+ & Rhythm Smart Heart Rate Arm Band Monitors
- SMS Audio’s BioSport In-Ear Wired Ear Bud
- iriver’s iriverON Heart Rate Monitoring Bluetooth Headset
- LG’s Heart Rate Earphones
- ATLAS Wristband
In addition to products currently in market, Valencell is also working with the first responder and gaming industries to incorporate biometric technology applications for a more enhanced, connected experience.
