No bribes here

If there’s an activity that sucks, then you’ll need a reward to motivate you to get it done. I think this is a universal law of human behavior. 

That’s why I’m a bit perturbed by the sudden rash of health 2.0 companies focused on providing cash rewards to people who walk more, eat less, stress out less, tweet more, etc. If these companies need to externally reward folks to make them live “healthier lifestyles”, then the “healthier lifestyles” these companies are promoting must totally suck.
