Valencell awarded a First Place CTIA E-Tech Award and listed as a CED North Carolina Company to Watch
This month, we have a lot to celebrate. While at last week’s INTERNATIONAL CTIA WIRELESS in New Orleans, Valencell was named a first place CTIA Emerging Tech Award winner in the Enterprise and Vertical Market Solution, Health and Wellness category. The Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards winners represent the industry’s most innovative wireless products and services in the areas of mobile apps, consumer electronics, enterprise and vertical markets and network infrastructure. Valencell was selected by a panel of media and industry analysts from close to 250 entries across 15 categories. Judging criteria included innovation, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall “wow” factor.
In North Carolina, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) named Valencell as one of 25 North Carolina Companies to Watch. This award honors growth oriented, second-stage companies headquartered in NC that demonstrate high performance in their market, exhibit innovative products and display other unique qualities that make them "worth watching." According to CED, the 2012 North Carolina Companies to Watch recipients were selected from an initial pool of more than 200 nominees.
